The recent changes appear to eliminate parking requirements for studio accessory dwelling units. The changes also prohibit requiring replacement parking when a garage or carport is converted to an ADU. The changes clarified that an ADU has to be within one-half mile walking distance of a transit stop, not simply one-half mile direct distance to any transit line.
